An old dovecot tower (a tower with nesting niches for pigeons) that you will come upon if you follow the circular route of the Canerilla. From here you have a bird’s eye view of the town of Rialp and the mountain called the Montsent de Pallars which rears behind it.
This viewing point and the three routes which meet there can be reached by the signposted walking trail which takes 55 minutes (going and coming back), starting from the manned refuge of the Pleta del Prat, which is accessible all year round by a tarmacadamed road.
From the eastern side of the Valleys of Àneu this viewing point will allow you to overlook the Mollera, or Wetlands, of Escalarre, and the mountains which shelter it and make it such an attractive resting and breeding place for birds.
This is the viewing point you will come across as you walk the circular route of Buiro through the forest of Virós. From here you can see where the three of the now abandoned iron mines of the Vall Ferrera (the Iron Valley) and their forges were located.
The "Coll de Grau", or Grau Pass, is on the Ras de Conques (Valls de Valira). The vantage point offers a sweeping view of Ras de Conques (Valls de Valira) with the Cadí Moixeró park visible in the distance.
